This policy keeps Cardify safe, fun, and lawful. It applies to all uploads ("Source Content") and AI-generated cards ("Generated Content"). Violations may lead to content removal, account suspension, or referral to authorities.
1. You must have rights to your uploads
- Only upload photos you own or have explicit permission to use.
- If a photo features another identifiable person, you confirm you have their consent.
- Do not upload photos of minors generated by, or featuring, anyone under 18 in unsafe contexts.
2. Prohibited content
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, or sexualized depictions of real people.
- Violent extremism, terrorism promotion, or incitement.
- Hate speech, slurs, or harassment targeting protected characteristics.
- Realistic deepfakes of real people intended to deceive (politicians, celebrities, private individuals).
- Doxing, threats, stalking, or content revealing private information.
- Illegal goods, regulated substances, weapons of mass harm, or fraud schemes.
- Malware, phishing, or content that compromises platform integrity.
3. AI generation guardrails
- We apply automated and human review to detect prohibited content before and after generation.
- Outputs flagged as policy-violating are blocked, hidden, or removed.
- We may decline to process certain prompts or images at our discretion.
4. Public sharing
Cards marked "public" are visible to anyone with the link and may appear in trending or community sections. Do not publish private images of others or content that violates this policy.
5. Reporting and moderation
Users can report cards for review. Our moderation team reviews flagged content and may hide, remove, or restrict accounts. We log moderation decisions for accountability and may notify the affected user.
6. DMCA / copyright
If you believe content on Cardify infringes your copyright, send a written notice to dmca@cardify.app including: identification of the work, the infringing URL, your contact information, a good-faith statement, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature. Counter-notices follow the same process.
7. Right of publicity
Do not upload or generate content that uses another person's name, likeness, voice, or persona for commercial purposes without their permission.
8. Enforcement
We may remove content, withdraw access to features, suspend accounts, or terminate access for violations. Repeat infringers will be banned. Severe violations are reported to law enforcement.
9. Appeals
You may appeal moderation decisions by emailing appeals@cardify.app within 30 days.
